GD1 is an Auckland, New Zealand based venture capital firm that invests in seed and Series A stage technology startups executing global expansion strategies. The firm primarily targets the B2B SaaS, deep technology, health technology, planet technology, and hardware and software interface sectors across the local New Zealand market. To support its ongoing investment activities, GD1 recently raised $130 million for its third venture fund and plans to secure an additional $30 million in capital commitments. The firm's active investment portfolio includes companies such as resource management platform Runn, which recently achieved 80 percent growth over a 12 month period while serving enterprise customers across 43 countries.
