§ 02 / The journey

One platform, four stages

Every step from
day zero to your
first term sheet.

Most founders stitch together Stripe Atlas, a cap-table tool, a CRM, a data room, and a spreadsheet of investors. We replace all five.

Matching, Not Mass Outreach

Our model reads 40+ signals, stage, sector, traction, geography, thesis, and surfaces the 20 partners most likely to write you a check.

Thesis-aligned · partner-level
04 / 06

Warm Intros on Tap

Every match is double opt-in. No cold email, no recycled decks. An investor only sees you if they've said yes to the category, and vice versa.

Mutual opt-in · no cold email

Fundraising Pipeline

Track every conversation, soft commit, and signed SAFE in one place. Watch your round fill in real time instead of chasing status over email.

Lead → committed in one view

Data Room That Doesn't Leak

Permissioned, watermarked, and logged. Know who opened the financial model, for how long, and when, so follow-ups land on actual interest.

§ 04 / Matching, not blasting

Skip the
400-deck blast.

Most investor lists are garbage, stale partner names, wrong stages, no thesis signal. Ours is not. We read what your round actually looks like, then hand you the 20 partners most likely to say yes.

A.

Partner-Level, Not Firm-Level

You do not want to email hello@, you want Elena at Threadline. We surface the specific partner whose thesis fits your round.

B.

Double Opt-In, Every Time

Investors only see you if they've opted into your category. You only see investors who would actually write your check.

C.

Updated as You Grow

Post traction, a new hire, or revenue, match scores refresh and new investors surface. Your list gets better as your story does.

§ 07 / Questions

Common
questions.

Can't find what you're looking for?

Talk to a Human →
Who is this for?+
Pre-seed to Series A technology founders, mostly in the US. If you're incorporating, running a first priced round, or just want a cleaner cap table, you're the target user.
Is Startup Intros a law firm?+
No. We provide the tools and templates. For anything that genuinely requires licensed legal judgment, we coordinate with outside counsel.
How does the matching engine work?+
We combine investor-stated thesis, historical check data, your company profile, traction metrics, and round structure to rank the partners most likely to write your check. Both sides opt in. Nothing leaves the platform without consent.
Can I import an existing cap table?+
Yes, from Carta, Pulley, AngelList, or a spreadsheet. We reconcile and flag anything that looks off during import.
Do you take equity or a placement fee?+
No equity. No placement fee. No broker-dealer relationship. We're software and workflow, you keep your round.
What if I'm already incorporated?+
Bring the company over. Most founders import their existing entity and keep everything, EIN, Delaware filing, and bank accounts. We become the system of record going forward.

Raise with the paperwork
already behind you.

Start your company this week. Be ready to send the deck the week after.
