Fubon Ventures

Fubon Ventures is the investment arm of Fubon Financial Holding, a financial investment holding company that consolidates subsidiaries providing banking, insurance, securities, and asset management services based in Taipei, Taiwan. The organization operates across retail and institutional markets, generating revenue through major subsidiaries like Taipei Fubon Bank, Fubon Life, and Fubon Securities. The holding company is funded in part by major shareholders, including the City of Taipei, which holds a 13.07% stake. The group expanded its financial services through strategic acquisitions, such as purchasing Jih Sun Financial Holding in November 2021. Its digital operations have also grown, highlighted by Fubon Life achieving NT$664 million in online insurance premium income during 2018. The broader enterprise originated from Kuotai Non-life Insurance in 1961 under Tsai Wan-lin, while Fubon Financial Holding was established in 2001 by Tsai Wan-tsai.
