Form Ventures is a London-based early-stage venture capital firm that invests in United Kingdom-based startups operating within regulated markets and policy-shaped sectors. The firm operates with fewer than 25 employees and provides up to £1 million in pre-seed and seed funding to early-stage companies navigating complex regulatory environments and policy barriers. Following an initial investment vehicle that backed nine early-stage startups, the firm successfully closed its £30 million Fund II in October 2021 to significantly expand its investment capacity. Form Ventures receives cornerstone financial backing from the British Business Bank and frequently syndicates deals alongside prominent global venture firms such as Index Ventures and Founders Fund. Its investment portfolio spans heavily regulated industries, including healthtech, mental health, cellular agriculture, open banking, and carbon offsetting. The firm was founded in 2019 by Patrick Newton and co-founder Leo.
