Beyond Capital is an impact investment firm based in Dallas, Texas, that provides early-stage capital and management advisory services to social enterprises operating in underserved emerging markets. Operating initially as a tax-exempt non-profit fund before expanding into a venture capital structure, the firm targets seed-stage businesses across the healthcare, agriculture, financial inclusion, and energy sectors in India and East Africa. The organization has invested in more than 20 social enterprises, collectively reaching over 66 million low-income individuals, including 45 million women. Beyond Capital's active investment portfolio includes emerging market companies such as Frontier Markets, Kasha, and Karma Healthcare. These portfolio companies have subsequently raised over 100 times the initial capital invested by the firm, which has realized three exits since its inception. Beyond Capital was founded in 2009 by Eva Yazhari and Hooman Yazhari.
