Trace Cohen

Trace Cohen is the Managing Director at New York Venture Partners, operating as an active technology investor based in New York City. In his current capacity, he leads venture capital investments and comprehensive due diligence within the early-stage technology sector, having successfully sourced, evaluated, and invested in more than 30 startup companies. Prior to transitioning into institutional venture capital, Cohen operated as a serial entrepreneur and founded three distinct technology ventures, including the mobile application SPOT, Launch.it, and Brandyourself.com, which was ultimately acquired. His academic credentials include a Master of Business Administration from Columbia Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship and Marketing from Syracuse University. Today, Cohen leverages his extensive operational background as a multi-time founder to identify, fund, and support emerging early-stage technology enterprises across the broader startup ecosystem.
