Sharaka

Sharaka is a non-governmental organization dedicated to fostering people-to-people diplomacy across the Middle East. It develops and implements strategic initiatives designed to build communities, provide educational resources, and facilitate profound engagement centered around the Abraham Accords. The organization leverages its platform to translate formal diplomatic agreements into tangible cross-cultural understanding and cooperation through direct human interaction.

The organization was established in 2020 by co-founders Amit Deri and Dan Feferman. Their foundational insight stemmed from the signing of the Abraham Accords, recognizing the critical need to cultivate grassroots connections and ensure these agreements led to genuine social and cultural integration. Amit Deri brings a distinguished background in community development and diplomatic efforts, having previously founded multiple impactful organizations focused on leadership and social engagement.

Sharaka serves individuals and diverse communities throughout the Middle East, primarily those in Israel, Bahrain, and the United Arab Emirates, who are actively seeking opportunities for cross-cultural dialogue and collaborative projects.
