The firm was founded by Zac Zeitlin, its Founder and Partner. Before New Ground Ventures, Mr. Zeitlin led the Principal Finance business as a partner at Silver Point Capital, and previously invested at Goldman, Sachs & Co. and TPG Capital. This extensive background informed his decision to establish a firm actively funding early-stage companies, commencing operations in 2011.
