Jimubox is an online peer-to-peer lending platform based in Beijing, China, connecting investors with borrowers for SME and individual loans. The platform facilitates personal and small business loans, providing investment evaluations and financial risk management through its internet-based marketplace, which also features a secondary trading market. By April 2015, Jimubox had completed almost 6 billion RMB (approximately $900 million) in new issue loans, significantly growing from 100 million RMB ($16.3 million) lent in 2013. The company has raised a total of $131 million in funding, including a $37.19 million Series B led by Xiaomi and Shunwei Capital, and an $84 million Series C led by Investec Bank and Haitong Kaiyuan.
