Future Fund Oman

Future Fund Oman is a sovereign wealth fund portfolio based in Muscat, Oman, that attracts foreign direct investment and supports local enterprises to stimulate the national economy. The fund operates with OR2 billion ($5.2 billion) in total capital, disbursed at OR400 million annually to finance public-private partnerships. It allocates 90% of its capital to projects valued between OR5 million and OR100 million across multiple industrial sectors, while reserving 7% for small and medium enterprises and 3% for startups. During its first three quarters, the entity secured OR832 million in financing, including OR609 million in foreign investment, creating approximately 1,600 direct jobs. The strategic initiative collaborates with the Ministry of Finance and operates under the leadership of Abdulsalam Al Murshidi and Sultan bin Salem al-Habsi. Future Fund Oman was founded in 2024 by the Oman Investment Authority.
