Finnvera is Finland's official export credit agency providing loans, guarantees, and risk-sharing financing to support the growth, operations, and internationalization of small and medium-sized enterprises, based in Helsinki, Finland. The state-owned financial institution operates with a total balance sheet of €14.3 billion and generated a consolidated group profit of €228 million during the 2024 fiscal year. Operating through a network of fifteen regional offices, the agency serves approximately 23,100 corporate clients nationwide, employs a staff of 370 professionals, and issued €1.8 billion in domestic loans and guarantees in 2023. Key leadership includes current Chief Executive Officer Juuso Heinilä, former CEO Pauli Heikkilä, and Executive Vice President Jussi Haarasilta, while its diverse client portfolio features notable companies such as environmental solutions provider Lamor. Finnvera was officially founded in 1997 by the national Government of Finland.
