Based in Seoul, South Korea, DoBrain develops an artificial intelligence-based mobile application that provides cognitive therapy, diagnostics, and early interventions for children aged three to seven experiencing developmental delays or learning difficulties. The subscription-based digital healthcare platform utilizes interactive, story-driven animated content to target memory, spatial perception, and logical reasoning, reaching a global user base of over 600,000 children. The company's therapeutic software has been officially selected as an innovative medical device by Korea's Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, and the firm is currently preparing for US FDA certification. DoBrain has secured financial backing from venture capital investors including InterVest and Smilegate Orange Farm, completing a $5.5 million Series A round before raising a subsequent Series B in July 2024. The organization was originally founded in 2017 by chief executive officer Yejin Choi.
