Yoni Rechtman

Yoni Rechtman is a Partner at Slow Ventures based in New York City, where he focuses on early-stage investments across seed and pre-seed rounds. Before joining the firm as a Principal in 2022, he spent his early career in the local venture capital ecosystem, including an investment role at Tusk Ventures. At Slow Ventures, which manages over $1 billion in assets and recently raised $295 million in opportunity funds, he has backed startups such as the healthcare voice agent SuperDial and the travel rewards platform Journey, founded by Brian Kelly. Outside of his direct investment activities, he authors a venture capital newsletter titled "99% Derisible," which reaches an audience of more than 15,000 subscribers. Rechtman currently operates as a generalist investor targeting unique founders across diverse sectors including financial technology, enterprise software, healthcare, and the creator economy.
