Will Coffield

Will Coffield is the Co-founder and General Partner of Riot Ventures, a venture capital firm based in Los Angeles, California. Before establishing the firm with Steve Marcus in 2017, he served as an investor at Saturn Partners, where he opened their Los Angeles office and led early-stage enterprise and financial technology deals. Coffield has over a decade of institutional investment experience, including early backing of Toast prior to its 2021 initial public offering and serving as a founding investor in Brace.ai. At Riot Ventures, which currently manages over $1 billion in assets, he recently directed a $19 million seed round for Valar Atomics and a $100 million Series B for True Anomaly. His current investment strategy focuses on deep technology and industrial modernization across the aerospace, defense, logistics, and advanced manufacturing sectors.
