Vik Chawla

Vik Chawla is currently a Partner at 9Yards Capital, a growth-stage technology investment firm focused on critical infrastructure for foundational industries. Prior to joining the firm in January 2024, he spent over seven years as a Partner at Fifth Wall, where he specialized in real estate and built-world technology investments. During his tenure at Fifth Wall from September 2016 to December 2023, he sourced and managed notable venture capital transactions, including investments in Opendoor and SmartRent. His earlier career includes serving as the Head of Fundamental Diligence at Echelon Asset Management and working as an Analyst at The Blackstone Group. Additionally, he is a Founder and former National Board member of the Kairos Society. Today, Chawla leverages his extensive background in fundamental diligence and special situations credit to identify early-stage companies transforming the built world.
