Ursheet Parikh

Ursheet Parikh is a Partner at Mayfield, where he co-leads the firm's Engineering Biology investment practice and focuses on early-stage artificial intelligence and enterprise infrastructure. Before joining Mayfield, he co-founded and served as Chief Executive Officer of StorSimple, a cloud-integrated storage company acquired by Microsoft in 2012. His earlier career includes operating roles at Cisco and Microsoft, alongside consulting work at Deloitte. As an investor, Parikh has backed unicorn startups such as Mammoth Biosciences and Versa Networks, generating portfolio exits valued at over $1.5 billion through acquisitions by companies like Palo Alto Networks and SUSE. He holds a Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School, earned a Bachelor of Technology from IIT Bombay, and is a founder of Plaksha University. Parikh currently focuses on funding transformative technologies across human health, planetary health, and enterprise IT infrastructure.
