Tom Porter is a Principal at Acrew Capital based in San Francisco, California, where he specializes in growth-stage technology investments. Since joining the venture capital firm in 2023, he has focused on sourcing deals, conducting due diligence, and supporting portfolio companies across the fintech, security, and enterprise software sectors. His current investment responsibilities include working closely with established technology startups such as RapidSOS, Finix, and Silverfort. Prior to his current role, Porter spent two years as an investor at SoftBank Vision Funds and began his career with a five-year tenure in technology investment banking at Morgan Stanley in Menlo Park.
