Tom Petit is the co-founder and CEO of Landis, a financial technology startup based in New York City. Under his leadership, the proptech platform has served over 100,000 users and secured more than $80 million in total funding, including a $60 million Series A led by Sequoia Capital in 2022 and a $20 million Series B extension led by Khosla Ventures in 2025. Prior to launching Landis, Petit co-founded Lysted, a real estate technology company acquired by Zillow in 2018, and previously held engineering and product positions at RentJuice. He earned a bachelor's degree in computer science from the University of Pennsylvania and was named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 Finance list in 2024. His current professional focus remains on developing innovative fintech solutions that facilitate credit building and expand affordable homeownership pathways.
