Tim Suzman

Tim Suzman is a General Partner at Pioneer Fund based in San Francisco, California, where he leads pre-seed and seed-stage venture capital investments. Since joining the firm in 2022, he has helped manage a portfolio of over 100 companies and recently participated in raising a $100 million fund in the third quarter of 2024 to support deep tech initiatives. His investment track record includes backing notable enterprise software and frontier technology startups such as Retool and Vercel. Prior to his current role, Suzman served as a Partner at Initialized Capital and held investment positions at Thrive Capital following his early career as a technology startup operator. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Yale University and currently focuses his capital deployment on early-stage founders developing transformative applications in artificial intelligence, biotechnology, and climate technology.
