Tim Stracke

Tim Stracke currently serves as the CEO of Chrono24 GmbH and a Venture Partner at Target Partners. He acquired Chrono24 through a management buyout in 2010, subsequently building the platform into the world's largest luxury watch marketplace. Previously, Stracke founded mentasys GmbH in 2001, which he sold to a subsidiary of Bertelsmann AG in 2006 before fully exiting the firm in 2008. His early professional career includes working as a consultant for Boston Consulting Group in Buenos Aires and launching a venture-backed gifts marketplace in 1999. He holds a master's degree in business engineering from the University of Karlsruhe and an MBA, and he currently maintains active stakes in nine different internet companies. As a serial entrepreneur and angel investor, Stracke focuses his advisory work on scaling eCommerce and internet startups across European and Chinese markets.
