Thad Langford is the Founding Managing Partner of Flyover Capital, an early-stage venture capital firm based in Kansas City, Missouri. Before establishing the firm to address regional funding gaps, he served as the Chief Executive Officer of Zave Networks, a technology startup that was ultimately acquired by Google. His corporate background includes executive leadership positions at telecommunications providers Sprint PCS and Sprint Nextel. Langford holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Arizona, where he competed in NCAA tennis. Additionally, he operates as an angel investor, a mentor for Techstars, an advisor to the Kauffman Foundation, and a Big 5 Steering Committee member. His current focus remains on funding and scaling early-stage technology enterprises located throughout the United States heartland.
