Steven Hellman

Steven Hellman is a Partner at Frontier Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm based in the United States investing in pre-seed through Series B startups. He began his career at Latham and Watkins working on the launch of DirecTV, later serving as Executive Vice President of Business Development at UniSite before its acquisition by American Tower. Following a decade as an investment banker, he joined Credit Suisse to serve as Chief Executive Officer and Head of Investment Banking for Russia and CIS from 2007 to 2016. He subsequently acted as Chief Restructuring Officer at the Eurasian shipping company FESCO and held board positions at public companies including the former TPG portfolio business Lenta PLC. Holding undergraduate and law degrees from UC Berkeley, he currently focuses his venture investments across artificial intelligence, software, and emerging sectors.
