Steve King is the Managing Director of Steve King Investments, his personal early-stage venture capital investment vehicle based in New York City. He previously served as a General Partner at ff Venture Capital between 2008 and 2016, held prior investment roles at First Round Capital, and co-founded the EIR Network for entrepreneur-in-residence programs. Throughout his career, King has invested in more than 50 technology startups, backing notable companies such as Circle, OwnBackup, which achieved a $1.4 billion valuation, and Snyk, which reached an $8 billion valuation following his seed investment. The Princeton University computer science alumnus recently expanded his industry involvement by joining the artificial intelligence startup Anthropic as an advisor in 2024.
