Stefan Roever is a Managing Partner at Earlybird Venture Capital based in Berlin, Germany, where he leads Series A and B investments across Europe and North America. Prior to his current position, he served as a Partner at Index Ventures from 2014 to 2021 and held earlier investment roles at Battery Ventures. Throughout his career, Roever has led more than 20 investments and managed portfolios with assets exceeding €1 billion, backing notable technology companies such as UiPath, Personio, and N26. In September 2024, he directed a €175 million funding round for the cybersecurity startup Soveren, and he recently joined Earlybird's climate tech advisory board. Equipped with a computer science degree from TU Berlin and an MBA from INSEAD, Roever currently focuses his investments on early-stage enterprise software, artificial intelligence, and financial technology.
