Simon Rogerson

Simon Rogerson is the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Octopus Group, a diversified financial services and energy investment firm based in London. He established the company in 2000 alongside Chris Hulatt, growing the enterprise into an organization that currently manages more than £13 billion in retail and institutional assets. Under his direct leadership, the firm launched Octopus Energy, which has expanded to serve over seven million households globally and secured strategic investments from major entities including Generation Investment Management and the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board. Prior to founding Octopus, Rogerson spent two years working as a fund manager at Mercury Asset Management, where he specialized in United Kingdom equities. His current professional focus remains on scaling the firm's renewable energy infrastructure and venture capital portfolios while expanding its international operational footprint.
