Simon Levene

Simon Levene is a professional film director and opera tenor operating internationally. As a vocalist, he served as a leading tenor at the Metropolitan Opera for five seasons and has performed at major global venues including La Scala, the Royal Opera House, and the Mariinsky Theatre. In his filmmaking career, Levene specializes in television commercials and short films, earning industry recognition such as a Bronze Cannes Lions for a Jiffy Condoms campaign and a Silver Clio Award. He also received a Gold International Craft award for a 2009 HSE Ireland project, while his 2009 short film "Tube Poker" secured four wins and was named a finalist at over twenty festivals. Following the multiple festival nominations of his 2011 project "Shoreditch Slayer," his dual career continues to bridge classical vocal performance with recognized commercial and narrative visual media.
