Scott Loftesness

Scott Loftesness is a retired fintech executive, venture investor, and current advisor to Glenbrook Partners based in Menlo Park, California. Before retiring from active consulting in October 2016, he co-founded Glenbrook Partners following over thirty years in information technology and financial services. His executive tenure includes serving as Group Executive Vice President at both Visa International and First Data Merchant Services, where he directed global payment system strategies, as well as spending seventeen years as a systems engineer at IBM and working with Fidelity Investments. A recognized expert in mobile payments and innovation, he is the co-author of the book "Payments Systems in the U.S." and the co-inventor of two United States patents, numbers 6,332,126 and 7,840,459. Today, he continues to share his expertise on platforms like the "Payments on Fire" podcast while actively pursuing street photography.
