Sam Baker

Sam Baker is currently a Managing Partner at Horizon Ventures based in San Francisco, California, where he oversees early-stage enterprise software investments. Before assuming this role in 2019, he served as a Senior Product Manager at Google, leading a forty-person engineering team to launch three major cloud infrastructure products that generated over fifty million dollars in first-year revenue. Earlier in his career, Baker worked as a Management Consultant at McKinsey and Company, advising Fortune 500 technology clients on operational scaling and market expansion strategies across North America and Europe. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Classics and Psychology from Brown University, where he graduated with honors and completed extensive research on behavioral economics.
