Ryan Sutton-Gee

Ryan Sutton-Gee is a technology entrepreneur and active angel investor who currently provides capital to seed-stage startups. He previously served as the co-founder of PlanGrid, a construction productivity software platform that initially launched as part of the Y Combinator Winter 2012 batch. Under his leadership, the enterprise software company successfully scaled its commercial operations until its strategic acquisition by Autodesk in November 2018. Since transitioning from a direct operating role to an investment focus, Sutton-Gee has built a portfolio of more than 13 seed-stage companies, backing recognizable technology startups such as Built Robotics, Hightouch, PermitFlow, and Upcodes. His most recent capital deployments include participating in the Winter 2023 funding round for Pirros alongside an early investment in HyperFrame. Sutton-Gee currently utilizes his domain expertise to support founders developing B2B SaaS platforms across the architecture, engineering, and construction verticals.
