Ryan Owen

Ryan Owen is an Investment Manager at Chevron Technology Ventures, where he directs capital toward early-stage energy and decarbonization technologies. In this capacity, he manages strategic investments from the firm's $300 million Future Energy Fund, targeting emerging innovations that accelerate the global transition to lower and zero-carbon energy systems. Prior to his tenure at Chevron, Owen developed a multifaceted career across the broader energy sector, gaining operational and advisory experience with major global oil and gas corporations, strategy consulting firms, and startup accelerators and incubators. A chemical engineer by training, he earned an Executive MBA from Rice Business and actively serves in board and board observer capacities for several early-stage venture portfolio companies.
