Ryan Castonia

Ryan Castonia is a Principal at Two Bear Capital, an early-stage venture capital firm specializing in the technology and life sciences sectors. He earned his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Aerospace Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Prior to entering the venture capital industry, Castonia gained valuable operational and technical expertise through roles with the Air Force Pararescue and the Department of Defense Joint Artificial Intelligence Center. He also held positions at technology startups including webAI, Dephy, and Selector, and now helps manage a venture portfolio featuring notable recent investments like a $62 million Series B in Graphiant and a $28 million Series A in QuSecure. Castonia currently leverages his technical engineering background and defense sector experience to identify and support early-stage investments in artificial intelligence and emerging defense technologies.
