Ryan Bubinski

Ryan Bubinski is a Venture Partner at Pioneer Fund, where he focuses on investments across the education technology, data services, and Internet of Things sectors. Prior to his transition into the venture capital industry, he co-founded the online coding education platform Codecademy alongside Zach Sims in 2011. Under his leadership, the educational platform scaled significantly, reaching a milestone of more than 25 million users globally by 2016. During his tenure, the company successfully secured $42.5 million in venture capital across three distinct funding rounds to support its continued global expansion efforts. The Columbia University graduate also previously held a position as a private equity investor within the Pioneer Fund organization before assuming his current venture partnership role. Bubinski currently leverages his extensive entrepreneurial experience in scaling consumer education platforms to identify, evaluate, and support early-stage technology startups.
