Ryan Biggs

Ryan Biggs is the Co-Head of Private Investments and Managing Director of Franklin Venture Partners at Franklin Templeton in San Francisco, California. Since 2014, he has helped deploy over $3 billion in capital across a portfolio of 95 mid- to late-stage venture companies. In August 2024, his investment team announced the final closing of the global asset management firm's second enterprise technology growth equity fund. Before assuming his current leadership position, Biggs gained alternative investment experience working with the Private Equity Group at CalPERS and co-founded the startup Muhuy. He holds a Chartered Financial Analyst designation and earned his undergraduate degrees in Economics and Religious Studies from the University of California, Davis. Biggs currently focuses on directing growth equity investments into high-growth enterprise, industrial, space, and defense technology companies positioned for upcoming public offerings.
