Rogelio Rea is currently a Partner at Sequoia Capital based in San Francisco, California, where he directs early-stage venture investments. Previously, he served as Vice President of Product at Google, managing a 150-person engineering team and overseeing the successful launch of three major enterprise cloud computing solutions. Before his tenure at Google, Rea was the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of DataFlow, a predictive analytics and machine learning startup that was ultimately acquired by Microsoft for $250 million in 2018. He began his professional career working as a senior software engineer at Amazon, shortly after completing his Master of Science in Computer Science at Stanford University. In his current capacity, Rea leverages his extensive operational background to advise portfolio companies, maintaining a primary focus on funding next-generation artificial intelligence and enterprise software infrastructure startups.
