Rick Yang

Rick Yang is a Partner and the Head of Technology at the venture capital firm NEA, operating primarily in the US. He joined the organization in 2007 and presently holds multiple board positions across several of the firm's portfolio companies. Prior to beginning his tenure at NEA, Yang worked in the investment banking division at Credit Suisse. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and maintains active ties to the institution by serving on the boards of the Stanford Engineering Venture Fund and the Department of Athletics’ investment fund. Beyond his primary roles, he is an All Raise VC Champion and a mentor for BLCK VC. His current investment strategy focuses on scaling seed, early-stage, and growth-stage companies operating within the financial technology, consumer, and artificial intelligence application sectors.
