Philippe Besnard

Philippe Besnard is the Co-founder and President of Pentagram Ventures, an investment and advisory firm based in Paris, France. Prior to his current role, he led European operations for major digital media companies, including AOL, Advertising.com, and Specific Media. In 2014, he co-founded Quantum Advertising, a programmatic native advertising platform that was later acquired by the digital entertainment company Azerion. Through Pentagram Ventures, Besnard acquired a significant equity stake in Fast Up Partners in 2018, subsequently becoming its Managing Partner. He also holds multiple board and advisory positions across the European technology and retail sectors, including roles at Solocal, Labelium, and Sarenza, which generated €146 million in annual revenue in 2019. His professional background centers on scaling adtech and martech enterprises, guiding US digital expansions into Europe, and advising high-growth programmatic advertising ventures.
