Philipp Werner

Philipp Werner is a Partner at Project A, where he leads early-stage venture capital investments focused on the supply chain technology sector. As a former entrepreneur turned early-stage institutional investor, he previously served as the firm's Chief Marketing Officer and Director of Business Intelligence, providing direct operational expertise to more than 40 distinct portfolio companies. During this extensive operational tenure, Werner has worked closely with several prominent European technology startups, including recognizable industry names such as Trade Republic, Kry, Sennder, and Spryker. Alongside his core investment responsibilities, he launched the Project A Studio and earned a Master of Business Administration from the Hamburg Media School, following earlier academic studies in Paris, Stuttgart, and Bordeaux. His current professional focus centers on backing early-stage enterprises operating across the sales technology, e-commerce infrastructure, logistics, and business-to-business marketplace sectors.
