Peter Stern

Peter Stern is the Chief Executive Officer of Voyant Photonics and a Venture Partner at LDV Capital, based in New York City. Previously, he served as Founder, Chief Technology Officer, and Head of Product at Datek Online Holdings Corp., scaling the pioneering online brokerage to serve millions of investors before a merger valued at nearly $2 billion. His executive experience also includes a tenure as Chief Executive Officer at the link management platform bitly, where he oversaw the expansion of its core enterprise infrastructure. In addition to his operational leadership, Stern has supported numerous early-stage technology founders as Managing Director of the Open Field Entrepreneur Fund at Carnegie Mellon University. His current focus centers on building and investing in disruptive hardware and software technologies across machine perception, advanced LiDAR, silicon photonics, and financial technology.
