Patrick Kerins

Patrick Kerins is a Special Partner at New Enterprise Associates (NEA) in Washington, District of Columbia, where he focuses on early-stage technology investments. With more than 20 years of venture capital experience, he joined NEA as a General Partner in 2006 after serving as a General Partner at Grotech Capital Group. Prior to his investing career, he worked at McKinsey & Company and Alex Brown & Sons, and he served as an officer in the United States Navy Nuclear Propulsion Program. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS from Villanova University, and he currently serves as Chairman Emeritus of the Mid-Atlantic Venture Association. His current investment focus centers on consumer internet, enterprise software, and telecommunications, supported by active board involvement with portfolio companies such as Eko, which he first backed in 2013.
