Patrick Huber is the Managing Director at Atlantic Food Labs GmbH and a General Partner at FoodLabs, currently based in Berlin, Germany. In this dual capacity, he oversees a €100 million venture capital fund dedicated to early-stage investments across the European food technology, health, sustainability, and agriculture sectors. Huber played a key role in spinning out FoodLabs as a dedicated entity from Atlantic Labs in October 2021, subsequently leading capital deployments into innovative portfolio companies such as Foodji. Prior to his transition into venture capital, he co-founded the mobility startup CarJump, an enterprise which was successfully acquired by the major French automaker Peugeot. Additionally, he previously served as the Chief Financial Officer at the Berlin-based academic research platform Morressier. Today, Huber focuses his current investment strategy entirely on backing sustainable nutrition and climate-focused technology companies.
