Patrick Elftmann

Patrick Elftmann is a Managing Partner at Future Energy Ventures, a venture capital firm headquartered in Berlin, Germany. Since co-founding the firm in 2016, he has helped build a portfolio of 56 active companies and recently oversaw the $120 million first close of a new climate fund, contributing to the firm's broader €235 million Fund II. Before establishing Future Energy Ventures, Elftmann served as a Partner at innogy Ventures and held corporate consulting roles, including Senior Manager at Accenture. He holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from RWTH Aachen University and completed additional business education at the UC Berkeley Haas School of Business. His current investment focus centers on Series A and B startups developing asset-light digital energy technologies, such as artificial intelligence grid optimization and e-mobility, across Europe, Israel, and North America.
