Pat Kinsel

Pat Kinsel is the Founder and CEO of Proof and a Venture Partner at Polaris Partners, based in Boston, Massachusetts. Under his leadership, Proof, formerly known as Notarize, has raised over $200 million in venture funding and secured more than $185 billion in real estate closings. Previously, he co-founded and served as CEO of Spindle, a social discovery startup acquired by Twitter in 2013, and led the development of Bing Social Search during his tenure at Microsoft. As an investor, he led early-stage financings and held board seats at Lob and Drizly, the latter of which was acquired by Uber for $1.1 billion. Additionally, he serves as a mentor at TechStars Boston and the Harvard Innovation Lab. His current focus centers on advancing digital trust, fraud prevention, and legal technology within the enterprise software-as-a-service sector.
