Osuke Honda is a General Partner at DCM Ventures, where he co-founded the firm's Japan Practice and focuses on early-stage cross-border investments. Before joining DCM, he served as a partner at Apax Globis Partners, spent seven years managing e-commerce initiatives at Mitsubishi Corporation, and founded E-Ukon.com in 2000. His venture capital career spans over two decades, highlighted by early investments in Kakao, which reached a $10 billion market capitalization in 2014, and Gree, which achieved a $5 billion peak valuation following its 2008 initial public offering. Honda currently holds board director positions at several technology startups, including FloSports, Coffee Meets Bagel, and RealScout. He completed his higher education at Hitotsubashi University, Keio University, and The Wharton School. Today, his primary investment focus remains on early-stage software, messaging, and mobile gaming companies operating across the United States and Asian markets.
