Onsi Sawiris

Onsi Sawiris is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of HOF Capital, a global venture capital firm based in New York, New York. At HOF Capital, he oversees a multi-stage investment strategy for a firm with over $2 billion in assets under management. Before launching the firm, Sawiris worked in technology, media, and telecommunications mergers and acquisitions at Arma Partners and earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. His transaction experience includes advising on the $36 million sale of Verio to Endurance International Group and Orascom Telecom's $6.6 billion exit to VimpelCom. He currently holds board director positions at several international organizations, including ItaliaOnline and Orascom Financial Holding. Sawiris focuses his current investments on early-stage and growth-stage companies operating within the enterprise software, financial technology, and cloud-based technology sectors.
