Nirav Tolia

Nirav Tolia is the Managing Partner at Airbridge Equity Partners, an early-stage venture capital firm in San Francisco focused on seed and Series A investments. Before transitioning to venture capital, the Stanford Graduate School of Business alumnus co-founded and served as CEO of Nextdoor from 2011 to 2018, scaling the Benchmark-backed platform toward its 2021 initial public offering. Earlier in his career, he worked as a consultant at McKinsey & Company before co-founding Epinions, a startup that was ultimately acquired in 2003. Through Airbridge, Tolia has invested in more than fifty technology startups across the consumer internet, marketplace, fintech, and enterprise software sectors. His recent milestones include joining the Ironclad board in 2023, leading a 2024 seed round for artificial intelligence company Glean at a valuation exceeding four billion dollars, and speaking at TechCrunch Disrupt 2025.
