Ning Li

Ning Li is currently a Venture Partner at Foothill Ventures, formerly known as Tsingyuan Ventures, where he focuses on deep tech investments. He began his academic career by enrolling at Tsinghua University at the age of 16, where he also became the youngest member of the institution's mountaineering team. In his venture capital role, Li targets early-stage companies operating across materials science, data storage, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. His investment scope extends into the healthcare sector, specifically targeting medical devices, life sciences, and surgical robotics. Outside of his investment activities, he has founded multiple non-profit organizations and co-authored the book "Stone of Hope," which chronicles the life of the renowned sculptor Yixin Lei. Li's career combines a strong foundation in advanced technologies with a dedicated focus on funding transformative deep tech and medtech startups.
