Molly Alter

Molly Alter is a Partner at the multistage venture capital fund Northzone in New York, investing across early and growth stages. She began her venture capital career in 2016 after graduating from Harvard University with highest honors in the History of Science and a minor in Global Health and Health Policy. Before joining Northzone, Alter was an investor at Index Ventures and Insight Partners, developing a transatlantic perspective on scaling B2B software companies across the United States and Europe. At these firms, she served on the boards of Quantive, Glia, and Lightricks, and participated in notable exits like the acquisition of Frame io by Adobe for one point three billion dollars. Her current strategy focuses on Vertical SaaS and artificial intelligence platforms, supporting a growing Northzone portfolio that includes GovDash, GC AI, ToplinePro, and Clarium.
