Mitchell Mom

Mitchell Mom is currently an investor at Foundation Capital, an early-stage venture capital firm based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Prior to joining Foundation Capital in 2021, he spent over three years at Y Combinator, where he served as an Admissions Manager and helped evaluate thousands of technology startup applications for the accelerator's core funding batches. During his tenure at Y Combinator, he also developed internal software systems designed to streamline the selection process for more than 15,000 annual applicant companies. He began his professional career working in product and engineering roles after earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Mom currently focuses his investment efforts on sourcing and supporting early-stage technology founders across the enterprise software, artificial intelligence, and developer tools sectors.
