Michael Steinberg

Michael Steinberg is the Founder and Managing Partner of Reciprocal Ventures, an investment firm established in 2016. With over 20 years of experience in capital allocation, he previously spent 15 years as a technology portfolio manager at SAC Capital, now known as Point72. During his tenure at SAC Capital, he generated 15 consecutive years of positive returns while managing public technology investments across the hardware, enterprise software, and communications sectors. He also led the firm's inaugural private market investment in the financial technology space in 2012, having previously started his financial career at Sanford C. Bernstein. Steinberg earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison before entering the investment industry. Today, he leverages his extensive background in technology portfolio management to oversee deal sourcing, strategic growth, and board representation for companies within the digital asset and fintech ecosystems.
