Michael Falcon

Michael Falcon is an Investment Partner and co-lead for the Intelligent Connectivity and Compute Practice at In-Q-Tel, based in Austin, Texas. With over 25 years of experience in deep tech investments and operations, he previously served as Managing Director at LG Technology Ventures and Managing Partner at Bandgap Ventures. Earlier in his career, Falcon held senior corporate roles at Texas Instruments and Teradyne, and he served as a Captain in the US Air Force Research Laboratory leading semiconductor laser research and development. He holds four degrees from MIT, including a Master of Business Administration from the Sloan School of Management alongside master's degrees in both electrical engineering and materials science and engineering. Falcon currently focuses his venture capital investment strategy on emerging deep tech sectors, specifically targeting microelectronics, advanced computing, next-generation communications, and quantum technologies.
